Painting & Weathering

With over 50 years modelling experience, I offer a painting and weathering service in 7mm or larger scales and am happy to produce locomotives, carriages and wagons finished to your specification. I also construct models if required.

Probably being most well known for the weathering and since it's this aspect of modelling that gives me the greatest satisfaction, I'm keener to accept these commissions.

I'm always available to offer advice, explaining each phase of every process as we go through the steps taken to meet your requirements and although having a waiting list, I try to agree a completion schedule that's reasonable for all concerned.

My fees are based upon the hours expended in creating the most realistic models I can, so please feel free to make contact and we can discuss these things in finer detail.

My book was published by Wild Swan Publications Ltd in 1993 and I'm currently writing a second volume that will have more of a step-by-step approach, this time with the photographs all in colour. I'll keep you posted on progress and a publication date as soon as possible.
